Holiday Sights Singapore

Most tourists go shopping at Orchard Road. Fine, with big labels like Louis Vuitton, Chanel. However there is a lot more to Singapore then shopping. The real charm lies in the suburbs. Beach road is an amazing place to go with famous writers and entertainers once came like Joseph Conrad and Charlie Chaplin.

Singapore Chinatown is a very prosperous distinct, which is a network of streets from upper Pickring Street. Thian Hock Keng temple is an icon of Chinese culture in the area. Little India like Chinatown is filled with Indian culture and temples it starts from Race Course Road and is an excellent place to check out.

If you want to check out some of the wild life go to Singapore zoo. Includes animal from the india/nepal/">Nepalese river and the Burmese jungle as well as more local species. It also includes the famous Komodo Dragon.

There is a fantastic bird park including penguins as well as other birds like flamingos, macaws and cockatoos.

There is also Changi Museum that showcases the POW during the Second World War; there is also a temple there to commemorate the troops that died.

If fun is what you want there is also a theme park, overall Singapore a great place to check out.
