Midway is a small atoll in the Pacific, it offers one of the world's most spectacular wildlife experiences including the Hawaiian monk seals. Other rare animals inhabiting the blue lagoon would be green sea turtles and spinner dolphins.
Closure of Naval Air Facility at Midway Island in 1993 lead it into wildlife conservation. The airbase played a major role in support of the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Most tourists come via Honolulu to enjoy the wildlife as well as diving. The amazing blue turquoise blue waters with the nice sandy beaches makes midway island a place to remember.
