France has one of the icon cities of the west, Paris. Paris is probably the most celebrated place to travel in the whole world; everyone talks about it as if it is the Mecca of romance. Some regard the museums there the best in the world and the architecture is spectacular. Paris being a city with so many marvellous sites you probably need a good 5 days to see all the sites. There are so many sites and museums that are worth seeing. The Eiffel tower, Musse d’Orsay, Musee de l'Histoire (museum of history), Musee du Vin (museum of wine) and the louvre are the must sees. The two visual icons of Paris would have to be the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of triumph and 1000’s of tourist come each year to get photos with these structures.

In the south, Nice and St. Tropez are very popular in the summer and are regarded as one of the best cities to see on the Mediterranean and are known for its beaches and quality dining. France is also very famous for its wines, so a place worth seeing would be the province of Champagne; this is where Champagne got tis name. If your interested in the French Revolution, its is probably worth checking out Marseille on the way down. This is where the revolution started.
