Curaçao is arid and largely Flat Island and ideal holiday destination for diving, snorkelling and any warm water activity. Check out the Hato Caves where stalagmites and stalactites have been forming over hundreds of years. Wildlife at Christoffel Park is a highlight for many tourists where they normally venture up to Mt Christoffel where you can get the highest views of the island and look down into the park’s exotic flowers and limestone cliffs. Shete Boka National Park is worth a look too.
If you want to see sites around the city, there is some historical architecture from the 18th and 19th century Dutch explorers. Charming restaurants, hotels and museums.
