Holiday Sights Bulgaria
Bulgaria has excellent ski resorts! And has since become a big interest of the western European states due to the warm weather in the summer and activities like going to the beach, ski jump and cross country skiing. Pamporovo is the best-known ski resort in Bulgaria and is a popular destination for many tourists. Due to the low price since the fall of communism has made Bulgaria a cheaper place compared to Switzerland, Austria and France for skiing.
Bulgaria has had a turbulent history of being sub sections of empires. First the Roman Empire, then a sub hub of Byzantine empire, then most recently the Ottoman empire. It’s only since it’s recent independence in the last couple of centuries where it was again been a sub communist state to the Soviet Union. This rich history has been reflected in its culture and it has since started to blossom again with interest of the west especially the English interest in investments properties. This has made Bulgaria an attractive holiday destination since the fall of communism.
