Beautiful picture perfect beaches, with waters reminiscent to the Caribbean. Surrounded by coral reefs and spectacular sunsets. Often underrated amongst its neighbours for its sightseeing due to political instability. These days Comoros has become a tourist heaven, just north west of Madagascar. Comoros consists of three islands, Ngazidja being the most prominent with an active volcano, Mt Karthala. The smallest Mwali, which has spectacular secluded beaches with a tropical aura. The most amazing and populated of the islands is Nzwani, which is renowned for its perfume exports.
There is a fourth island, Maore, which chose to remain under French control during independence, and is technically not part of modern Comoros. Comoros is one the most underrated holiday destinations of the coast of Africa.
