From North Africa to the very south of Africa you will notice an incredibly diverse cultural difference divided by centuries by the Sahara desert. This makes Africa a very interesting place, and you can see a big difference in your experience with different cultures, fauna, flora in every individual country.

Because the distances between each country are so far apart compared to Europe, if you have less then a month in Africa it could be advisable to do a overland tour, so you can get to see as much as possible. And overland you will get a chance to do a safari, which is what the real Africa is about.
